School Closure Instructions
Below you will find instructions for distance learning during the school closure in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Junior High
Ms. Airhart
7th and 8th Grade Math
Students will need to come to the school and pick up their Springboard book and thinking notebook to HELP them with the review skills. I have posted the work on Google Classroom and there is a packet that can be picked up at the school.
Ms. Deen
8th Grade Science
This is what I want you to focus on for the next three weeks. If you have internet I want you to focus on these concepts:
Concept 2.3: Heat and Temperature
Concept 4.4: Friction
Complete any assigned Review, Summative Review, and Constructive Response. Just as if you were in my class.
Also, you can go to Edulastic and work on the LEAP 2020 Practice and 8th Grade Standards Practice.
For the students unable to have internet, I have packets of the above for you in the office.
7th Grade Science

Concept 3.2: Meteorology
Concept 3.3: Extreme Weather

Biology and Physical Science
Assignments can be found on the Google Classroom created for each class. Students should be aware of this and how to access it, since it has been used many times during class. If for any reason students are unable to access the Google Classroom, they should email me (rebekah.christian@gpsb.org) and I can add them in. All assignments will be posted online at the beginning of each week. However, if unable to access Google Classroom, all assignments will be printed out for pickup this Thursday (Weeks 1-3). Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
